Step by step
- Open Outlook.
- Click on "File".
- Click on "Add account".
- Enter your mail address.
- Click on "Advanced Options" and check the box for "I want to set up my account manually".
- Click on Connect.
- Select one of the access methods IMAP or POP.
(IMAP is the better choice in most cases). - Enter for "Incoming e-mail":

- If set, remove the tick from "Login using secure password authentication (SPA)".
- Enter the following for "Outgoing e-mail":

- If set, remove the tick from "Login using secure password authentication (SPA)".
- Click on "Continue".
- Enter your password for your mail account and then click on "Connect".
- Finally, click on "Process completed".
